Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of 15 program vehicles. Coordinate workdays with up to 30 employees to identify vehicle issues, make repairs, and/or otherwise make vehicles safer and cleaner to operate.

Coordinate community planting projects through collaboration with organizations and entities within Santa Clara County. Train AmeriCorps members on the planting team.

Americorps Member serving as the Volunteer Coordinator and Education Specialist for the Planting Team. In this role, I recruited, communicated with, and greeted volunteers for large Community Tree Planting events and small Residential Tree Plantings. I also planned, developed, and led educational workshops and classes for volunteers and community members in topics related to urban forestry and proper planting practices.

Collaborated with the Honors Program to create an outreach initiative that engages Temple Honors students through a weekly, optional learning experience called Honors REACT. Each day of the week, students received a recommended reading assignment, video or podcast episode, action item, or reflection prompt to educate them on a topic related to one of the four pillars of the program (Inclusive Community, Intellectual Curiosity, Social Courage, and Integrity in Leadership). At the end of the week, Honors hosted a virtual meet-up related to the week's topic for students to stay connected to the program and each other socially during the COVID-19 crisis. Topics included Building Community Wherever You Are, Inclusivity, Being A Good Neighbor, etc.

Created, planned, and instituted a weekly programming model for Temple students and led or planned workshops related to professional development or self-care, working with other organizations around campus to engage with students outside of their usual classroom and extracurricular experiences.

The Honors Admissions and Transitions Team (HATT) is the Temple University Honors Program's prospective student recruitment organization. The purpose of HATT is to guide prospective students through their college decision process by hosting tours of aspects of the Honors Program. Coordinators work directly with prospective students and their families to set up visit itineraries and answer admissions questions, as well as manage the responsibilities of 125 Honors Ambassadors.

Led discussions and lectures for students in a first-year seminar by creating lesson plans, holding office hours, and facilitating field trips to help students transition successfully to college life and foster self-reflection.

Connected with English and Spanish Language Learners to improve their speaking and listening comprehension and increase their confidence in their communication skills, as well as facilitate in English Language Learners a greater understanding of American culture to aid in their adjustment to life in the United States.

Counseled new, transfer, and returning students throughout their undergraduate careers, facilitated formal and informal educational programs, and upheld university and housing policies and procedures to keep residents safe and promote self-reflection.

Accompanied newly arrived immigrants with refugee status to resettlement-related appointments throughout Philadelphia, advocating for their rights and helping them acclimate to life in the United States throughout various points in the 90 day resettlement period.
