We went from idea to a feature complete ALPHA release, followed by a BETA release.Web Interoperability Tool – Company Wide⬥ Implemented a web interface that immediately identified “what works with what.” It replaced inefficient cross-document manual lookups. We went from decentralized info to having a central repository. We moved away from conflicting interpretations to a common understanding between Customers, Sales, Support and Product Management. The solution was a Web-Based interface to an efficiently designed centralized relational database. It reduced the time to identify an answer from 30 minutes or more with inconsistency and inaccuracy, to a 1 second accurate response with consistency.Tools that Automated and Optimized the Support Experience for Customers and Support TeamsCreated the following tools:⬥ GetConfig script for AIX, HPUX, Solaris⬥ PERL / EXCEL tool, condensing trace data from 8 files into 1 file in EXCEL with analysis, trending, and a config summary⬥ HTML Health Check: automated extraction and easy to read summary config report from a hardware trace/dumpSupport P&L Dashboard Reporting⬥ Implemented the generation of an automated monthly P&L which identified how spares depreciation expense was out of balance and required business process optimization
