On August 31, 2023 I published my third book 'Concussed: Sport's Uncomfortable Truth' recounting almost two decades I spent as a sports journalist attempting to blow the whistle on rugby's concussion and injury crisis. In November 2023 Concussed was shortlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year and in May 2024 it won the UK Sports Book Award for Outstanding Sports Writing. I am currently working on a screenplay based upon the true events recounted in the book.

Responsible for international match coverage, feature writing and regular appearances on The Ruck podcast.

Spearheaded acclaimed concussion in rugby campaign which became the first sports campaign ever to be shortlisted for the prestigious Cudlipp Prize at the 2014 UK Press Awards. Shortlisted for sports writer of the year at the 2014 Press Gazette Awards and Sports Journalists Association investigative reporter of year, 2017.

Two-year long PR and media campaign raised more than £1.3 million for wounded service charities. Led team of experienced media professionals delivering maximum global PR exposure, while overseeing website and social media output. Subsequently authored "The Row to Recovery; From the battlefield to Barbados" published in October 2011.

Helped break the Pakistan cricket spot-fixing story while ghosting columns with Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Flintoff and Richie Benaud. Covered every match of 2009 British Lions tour to South Africa.

I covered rugby and cricket for every national newspaper and wrote features and new stories for industry magazines including Rugby World and the Cricketer. I covered the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France for a variety of news outlets and filed live from the Final.

As part of a Short Service Limited Commission (Gap Year Commission) I spent a year with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers after being commissioned at Sandhurst Military Academy. I was responsible for the welfare of 30 soldiers and planned and implemented training exercises ahead of the regiment's deployment to Bosnia.
