As an Economics and Mathematical Sciences graduate, I have developed a strong foundation in data visualisation, econometrics, and statistical modelling. Studying at the Open University has allowed me to become a self-motivated and disciplined individual.My passion for using data to drive decision-making has led me to pursue a Chartered Accountancy role, with an incoming ACA trainee position at Bright Grahame Murray due to start in August. I am proficient in utilising programmes such as Excel, R, and Python. In addition, I have a solid understanding on the application of economic theory to industry data (most recently, writing a first-class thesis on the effects that pharmaceutical policy decisions have on the treatment of cancer).Whilst studying, I worked part-time as a Senior Team Member at Greggs. My responsibilities extended to managing teams of 3-5 individuals and training new recruits. This has proved to be a rewarding experience, and built upon previous communication and interpersonal skills gained when tutoring students in after-school interventions.I am a highly motivated, results-driven individual with a strong work ethic. I possess excellent communication and leadership skills, and work well both independently and as part of a team. I am adaptable and think creatively to find solutions to problems, priding myself on being dependable, punctual and having a positive attitude towards the work culture.
