Was briefed with a well-known brand to conceptualise new board and card games for. Pitched and presented rough concepts to marketing, who selected a concept to develop. I then developed and delivered a Board Game for Harry Potter, working to style guidelines and manufacturing constraints.

Made in Brunel is a student-led programme that facilitates the connection between Brunel design and the greater creative community to help promote student work. My role was very varied, but included:- Liaising with the made in brunel team, academics, students and external companies - Helping create a new brand identity for Made in Brunel 2018: E M E R G I N G- Graphically Designing Promotional Material and communicating with suppliers to promote our brand- Organising events run by Made in Brunel such as a final year ball- Helping organise and run the Made in Brunel Final Year show at the OXO tower, London

Within the Design Department at Brunel University, I have gained valuable experience in events design, graphic design, organisational skills etc. I have had the opportunity to become involved in the following:- Applicant Days (120 visitors per 6 applicant days): Organising the day, including student workers, design challenges, and the graphic student work displays, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable application process.- Open Days (200+ visitors per 4 open days): Organising the event, including student work displays, student workers who help answer visitor questions and give tours and creating graphics for the day etc. I improved Open days by applying wayfinding to create designated spaces for each year group's work on display. - Branding: I helped create an identity for the Mathematics department, of which I had to present my concepts to. I also redesigned the "Design Plus" logo to connect it more to Brunel Design. I updated the Brunel Design logo so it was visibly different to Made in Brunel. - Wayfinding: I created large scale 3D maps via illustrator to help students identify Design and Maths rooms after helping to give maths an identity. I also designed signage to clarify rooms on the map.- Wall Graphics: Brunel Design had moved into a new building, and needed lots of new large graphics as the building felt a little sterile. I designed 30+ boards of undergraduate student work, all in a consistent style and a staff board for students to identify who they need to talk to, including staff areas of expertise. I greatly improved communication, organisational and graphic skills by collating information from all Design staff members, and by frequently communicating with industry to print these graphics.
