A current graduate student of Cabarrus College of Health Sciences with a concentration on Occupational Therapy while practicing as Occupational Therapy Assistant within the field of post-acute rehabilitation. I have 3 years of experience providing occupational therapy in skilled nursing, collaborating with clients on developing goals to address strengths, deficits and barriers that hinder occupational performance of roles and activities that are meaningful for that individual. I am a graduate of Oregon State University, having obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, which I have utilized in a prior career as a manager of ticket sales and operations for live sport and entertainment events. Combining my experiences from my diverse educational and career backgrounds, I have aspirations to be a positive influence within my local occupational therapy community.
