My placement year was a huge success and has helped me develop into a better and more skilful person. Thanks to my placement I feel a lot more confident in what I want to do in the future and with the work that I have been completing over the past 3 years.After finishing my placement and before I started back at University, I was able to travel to South Africa where I volunteered for just over a month on a nature reserve helping out with ranger duties. This life changing experience allowed me to develop even further and unlock new skills that I was completely unaware of beforehand. South Africa was my first major venture outside of Europe and I'm hoping that it won't be the last as I am always open to new and exciting challenges.
