Supervise the safe operation of an industrial sawmill operation producing dimensional lumber. Control quality of lumber produced during shift, oversee safe operation of work stations, and drive improvements in operating efficiency of team members through observations and continuous training.

Predict process upsets, track and analyze trending process variables, and responsible for directing corrective actions to production technicians. This includes troubleshooting process and equipment problems, minimizing production cost, and optimizing system efficiency. Operational control of four air separation plants, multiple nitrogen MPLs, one liquid.

Escalation point of contact for production group to identify problems and solutions, provide direction to technicians. Outage planning and preparation for production group. Update site-specific standard operating procedures as well as Process and Instrumentation Diagrams as necessary. Train and orient new production department employees. Weekly scheduling.

Verify production technician completes work as assigned. When issues arise take care of or escalate to Production Coordinator when needed. Monitor performance of process equipment, systems and components to include making daily rounds, minor equipment maintenance, inspecting machines prior to start-up, completion of Quality Assurance paperwork, creating.

Outside technician for four air separation units, one liquid hydrogen plant, pipeline compressors, and rare gas processes. Worked independently with minimal to no supervision to meet the logistical needs of the business by safely loading trailers with liquid hydrogen, nitrogen, argon, and/or oxygen. Calibration of process analyzers, purging trailers out of service for maintenance, completing Quality Assurance paperwork, demonstrating the ability to follow site specific.
