Collaborating with people with lived experience of homelessness and poor housing, the team at Shelter Merseyside and across the national charity, I will be leading a range of projects, activities and consultations. Our activity will inform Shelter's operations and campaigns as we work to end the housing crisis.

This varied role involves managing partnerships set up between Bido Lito! magazine and businesses as well as contributing to and leading on projects as part of the creative agency side of the business. This entails liaising with clients to ensure projects, advertising partnerships and marketing campaigns are delivered to their requirements. I work on all aspects of a variety of projects from social media strategies to event organisation. It is a demanding role which requires me to work as part of a small team and largely autonomously. As well as leading on large projects such as Merseyrail Sound Station, I also coordinate advertising activity for the magazine across print and online channels. The role encompasses editorial responsibilities, audience growth strategies and client relationship management.

Managing a team of reviewers and photographers, I put together the reviews section of this well-established monthly music magazine. This editorial role required me to be well organised, stick to strict deadlines and contribute editorial ideas. I also contributed feature articles, news items and online pieces.

In this rapidly growing company (now called Salience), I learnt a great deal about SEO, content marketing and e-commerce copy writing. I took charge of the SEO link-building process, while contributing to the content marketing campaigns for a variety of high level clients.
