• Worked in a team, composed of biomedical engineers and neurosurgeons, to innovate a device capable of improving neurosurgery• Shadowed neurosurgeons for 60+ hours to compile a list of 150 clinical needs• Designed and fabricated a voice activation system for the bipolar cauterization unit to give neurosurgeon autonomous control in a way that reduces movement in the surgical field• Filed provisional patent application
