About Sam Z.

Sam Zhang leads Analog Devices’ MEMS sensor and system design teams developing high performance inertial MEMS products. He was a key designer of the world’s first integrated 3-axis accelerometer that enabled motion control in Nintendo Wii, a worldwide sensation that proliferated motion sensing in portable electronic devices. He designed industry-leading low noise and low power accelerometers for high-end applications, and pioneered ultra-high stability design and simulation techniques which are foundational to ADI's tactical grade gyroscopes and Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs). He holds over 40 U.S. patents and was also a key designer for ADI’s first MEMS microphone and other sensors/actuators.
