Provide legal guidance, advice and counsel to executives and business clients on the following teams: -Community Policy: Provide global legal guidance and risk mitigation advice on complex policies that apply to the Airbnb community of hosts and guests, including Airbnb’s Security Cameras and Nondiscrimination policies. -Anti-Discrimination & Equity (AD&E): Provide global AD&E-related legal guidance and risk mitigation advice in connection with groundbreaking anti-discrimination initiatives (including Project Lighthouse), product development, community policies and development of AI and machine-learning models. -Trust and Safety, Quality, and Customer Support: Provide legal guidance and risk mitigation strategies related to a multitude of user-related issues.

Provided advice and counsel to client teams, including executives, various HR teams and business clients on all aspects of labor and employment law. Managed employment-related litigation and pre-litigation matters. Collaborated with client teams on hiring, terminations, performance management, reductions-in-force, wage and hour compliance, pay equity, internal and external investigations, workplace threats, diversity and belonging, leaves, accommodations and ethics and compliance matters.-Employee Policies & Agreements: Drafted and reviewed employee policies, separation agreements, offer letters and employment contracts.-Global Employment Law Experience: Broad experience with international employment laws in EMEA, APAC, Canada, LATAM, including advising on and overseeing the work of 30+ outside lawyers during a global reduction in force. -Pandemic Response: Managed COVID-19 related projects including our response and compliance to global COVID ordinances. -Diversity & Belonging Work: Supported several initiatives including expanding ways for global employees to self-identify in Workday, supporting executives in improving team culture/dynamics, and developing the creation of our Quarterly People Forum, which shares aggregated demographic details in the context of representation, hiring, attrition and promotion.

Represented clients in litigation matters including single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation and preemption matters. Received offer to start at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius (New York Office) following 2009 summer associate role. Morgan Lewis provided a “deferral year” stipend. Obtained legal fellowship during deferral year and assisted undocumented workers in Los Angeles with filing wage and unemployment claims against their employers. Completed the New York Bar Exam during deferral year and ultimately opted to stay in Los Angeles in Fall 2011 as a Labor & Employment Associate at Seyfarth Shaw.
