As a GRA and TA, I assist with both research and teaching an undergraduate course, ASI655; Domestic Animal Behavior. This may include grading papers, assisting with creating exams, and leading lab. As for my research assistantship, I am responsible for collecting data in a variety of ways on our current set of animals; these may include blood collection, live body weight, fecal scores, ultrasound imaging, infrared imaging, live observations, and more. I am also responsible for keeping records of feed quantity, day-by-day occurrences, and anything else that may be necessary for the study. I take pride in making sure our current group of animals are healthy and all welfare requirements are met!

I work with student engagement, organizing activities on campus to gather students and celebrate various things like culture, diversity, holidays, and more.
