Taught undergraduate students about laboratory safety and basic chemical principles and facilitated an undergraduate general chemistry laboratory and answered basic questions. Worked diligently to provide feedback to students on laboratory reports and held regular office hours.

Mentored, educated, and oversaw other interns during their summer experiences. Developed and conducted a series of multi-week experiments and provided weekly reports. Further operated and learned how to use various scientific instruments to conduct research.

Investigated ways to cure and/or prevent cataracts through scientific research and collaborated with peers to share research findings and propose novel experiments. Worked to educate others in proper laboratory techniques and practices to ensure scientific learning.

Operated a scientific instruments on a daily basis, including a Scanning Electron Microscope and a Scanning Laser Confocal Microscope. My research contributed to 3 federally funded studies on corrosion. Research findings were presented to scientists at ARL to secure continued project funding.

Engaged with DFSC across various laboratory spaces and buildings and conducted Forensic analysis on dozens of samples to further develop critical thinking skills. The culminating event expanded upon crime scene investigation knowledge by conducting a mock investigation.

Helped inventory more than 5 tons worth of items coming into the distribution center and prepared these items to be sent to customers by packaging each item individually for shipping. Orders were fulfilled with strict attention to detail with each being ensured to be completed on time.

Ensured teams were checked in, games ran smoothly, and scores and brackets were updated. Additional duties required directing and managing Field Crew to prepare 12 fields for game play. Worked to facilitate umpire communication with teams by disseminating information and equipment.
