Adaprosthetics Co-Leader
CurrentI lead a small team dedicated to creating an adjustable lower-limb prosthetic pylon for growing adolescents to increase accessibility and decrease costs for patients and their families. We have developed a prototype using CNC machining, lathes, CAD, and 3D printing, and performed usability, impact, and strength testing. We presented our progress in front of the USC students, faculty, and the dean of engineering. Now, we are interviewing clinicians and professionals to guide our redesign as we aim to have a product ready for field testing by the end of the school year.
