I am a computer science student at Penn State University, expecting to graduate in May 2025. I have been working as a software engineer intern at ByWater Solutions, a company that provides open-source library software and services, since May 2023. I also have previous experience as a peer tutor at Penn State University, helping students in various subjects such as physics, calculus, economics, and computer science. My core competencies are programming, databases, and quality assurance.As a software engineer intern, I have contributed to the development, testing, and maintenance of the Koha library management system, which is used by thousands of libraries worldwide. I have used languages such as Perl, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and tools such as Git and Bugzilla. I have also collaborated with the senior developers, the QA team, and the clients to ensure the quality and functionality of the software. As a peer tutor, I have supported the academic success and confidence of the students, by providing individual and group tutoring sessions, using online platforms, and creating study materials. I am passionate about learning new technologies, solving problems, and sharing knowledge. I value teamwork, diversity, and innovation, and I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
