My role expanded to include leading on our corporate diversity action plan (through to Executive Director Team approval) and benchmarking, including collating our Race for Opportunity and Opportunity Now (Race and Gender) benchmark for 2014 and engaging business areas to improve our monitoring and reporting. As a result of my rigour and partnering approach, we scored gold and top ten public sector for both, a significant improvement on 2013.I also developed our positive action programme for 2014-16, which is focussed on career and talent development to develop our diverse workforce to their full potential.
