My primary goal is to connect our Katz MBA and MS students to opportunities of all types across the globe. Through the development of co-curricular programs, hosting career events, engaging with alumni/recruiters, and more, our team looks to make the job search and talent acquisition process easier for our students and corporate partners.

As part of the Katz Career Management Center, my role is to bring top companies and recruiters to campus to meet and hire our fantastic MBA and MS students. Employers often participate in corporate presentations, on-campus interviews, coffee and conversation sessions, and online webinars if a visit to campus is too far. We also seek to engage as many alumni with our students as we can with networking events and informational webinars.

Program Development• Ensure fulfillment of the University of Pittsburgh’s Internship Guarantee which guarantees an experiential learning opportunity to all undergraduate students who complete Pitt’s Internship Prep Program• Organize and facilitate Internship Week engaging over 600 students and 25 employers each semester• Create and present Internship Prep Program workshops and LinkedIn programsCommunication• Inform recruiters about university internship policies, program strategies, supervisor roles, and recruitment tactics• Meet individually with over 100 students each semester to review resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles• Conduct mock interviews and recommend pre-interview strategies and research• Generate and distribute marketing materials to engage more students with the Internship Prep ProgramCollaboration• Interact with various offices, departments, and organizations to create more specific student population programming• Member of Student Affairs Training and Development Committee creating workshops to drive staff development• Support the Outside the Classroom Curriculum program by discussing and implementing new strategies and initiativesTechnical• Update the CDPA webpage and troubleshoot issues regarding web content and visibility using WordPress• Construct surveys via Qualtrics and analyze results to drive development of new strategies

• Developed spreadsheets and documents for data organization and storage• Conducted fMRI assessments ensuring participant safety and care• Analyzed both behavioral and fMRI data using statistical programs for use in publications• Supervised undergraduate researchers and oversaw completion of orientation, hours, and tasks • Reviewed resumes and conducted in-person interviews for potential undergraduate researchers• Primary trainer of new lab staff and faculty; developed manuals for lab protocols• Ensured deadlines are met for publications and grant funding opportunities• Prepared images and figures for poster presentations for national conferences
