As Academic Director for The Amari Burney Foundation, I assist in achieving our goal of empowering and enriching the lives of youth football players in and around the St. Petersburg, FL area by providing academic mentorship and opportunities for personal growth within the classroom. My goal is to cultivate a generation of resilient athletes who shall exceed both on and off the field.In July 2024, I founded this non-profit for NFL Linebacker Amari Burney. In August 2024, I established a tutoring program for a local high school. Stetson Law students were encouraged to assist in academic mentorship with the reward of non-legal pro bono hours. Daily sessions focused on overall academic productivity and accountability as well as troubleshooting the student-athletes' knowledge of various concepts.
