- Supported building of new gait analysis feature and metrics via accelerometry and sEMG data collection and analysis, Matlab code implementation, FFT filtering, and experiment design.- Designed, implemented, and managed automated Microsoft Power BI interface for client data visualization. As a graduate research assistant, I was team lead of the Report Automation Task Force, one of the two teams within the Athlete Engineering program. My roles included managing a multidisciplinary team of students and professors, supporting athletic coaches at MSU by creating or automating reports using data from their wearable devices, and providing general assistance with all technology. Team goals included informing coaches’ decision-making and decision-making processes by helping them leverage data into something useful and actionable.- Collaborated and interfaced directly with practitioners in an effort to distill data into insightful and easily digestible visuals. Biomechanics: Motion Capture Technology, Motion Monitor- Created lower extremity live animation models used for data collection of gait, LIDAR, and performance technology trials.Performance Enhancement Tools- Helped design and conduct an experiment to compare the ground reaction force and muscle activity generated by a flexible barbell and a rigid barbell.- Recruited participants.Microsoft Power BI- Compiled data and designed and automated daily reports in Power BI which analyzed and visualized Catapult, force plate, and other strength and conditioning data for the MSU softball, basketball, soccer, football, and Olympic sports departments. - Designed and automated reports to analyze and visualize pitching data for the MSU baseball team.- Wrote literature reviews on numerous subjects including stroboscopic eyewear, eye tracking research in secondary education, and the influence of wearable technology and social media on Division I athletes.
