About Sam Grant
Hi! I'm Sam Grant, a third-year mechanical engineering major at Georgia Tech. My main areas of interest are additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and engineering education, especially their intersection in a makerspace environment. Being able to get hands-on exposure to the concepts taught in courses by applying them to my own designs has been essential to my development as an engineer. I want to make sure as many students as possible can have that same experience, whether through integrating project-based learning into curriculums, improving awareness and access to makerspaces, or developing new technology that will serve as the future of manufacturing.
