Current● Responsible for all aspects of legal, risk, compliance and company secretarial functions for Lockton’s international network in LATAM, MENA, Europe, Asia and Pacific regions.● Grew team from 10 to 35.● Led negotiation, execution and integration of more than 30 of Lockton’s strategic investments and acquisitions, notably in LATAM, Australia, the Nordics, Italy, Turkey and India.● Helping established a highly profitable new Marine Insurance vertical, overseeing acquisitions in Norway, Italy and Turkey.● Key contributor to the start-up of Lockton’s Reinsurance business in 2020, during the challenging conditions of the COVID pandemic, setting up an LLP, onboarding key leaders and completing regulatory requirements, all remotely.● Advised senior stakeholders on legal, risk and regulatory issues relating to the global activities of Lockton, ensuring alignment with new regulations and legislation.● Set up Lockton’s first innovations workstreams, ‘Bit by Bit’ and ‘Lockton Lab,’ and now support as executive sponsor.● Ideated and established an internal triage system, in collaboration with IT, to rapidly assess and allocate new legal, risk and compliance queries to the most appropriate team.
