Supervised crews of workers performing remediation of legacy equipment and laboratories to remove radiological and environmental hazards from spaces to allow for future repurposing or demolition. Participated in the cradle to grave development and execution of complex procedures and oversaw the day-to-day work ensuring all Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, and Radiological Controls procedures were being followed.

Provided the deck plate oversight of a sub-contractor multi-million dollar contract to dismantle a retired nuclear prototype. Ensured all Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, and Radiological Controls procedures were being followed throughout all phases of dismantlement.

Initial qualifications as Senior Reactor Operator at commercial nuclear power plant under construction.

Aboard the U.S.S Harry S Truman CVN-75. As the divisional Leading Chief Petty Officer, I was responsible for overseeing 65 enlisted sailors in the daily operations, maintenance, preservation, and training of two reactor plants.

Nuclear Power Training Unit Ballston Spa, Advanced to MMCM

As Machinery Division Leading Petty Officer, I was responsible for scheduling, tracking, and coordinating all mechanical division maintenance performed at the prototype. As Leading Crew Chief I was responsible for the oversight of a crew of 40 enlisted instructors and 60 Officer and Enlisted students in their daily duties of operations, maintenance, and training on the reactor and propulsion plant. As the Senior Off-Crew Instructor I was responsible for overseeing all the classroom training of each officer and enlisted student assigned to the prototype.

Aboard U.S.S Dwight D. Eisenhower CVN-69, Advanced to MMCS.As a Nuclear planner, I was responsible for the research and development of complex procedures for the repair of propulsion plant equipment, ensuring all technical and cleanliness requirements were met. As the Leading Chief Petty Officer, I was responsible for overseeing 30 individuals in the operations, maintenance, preservation, and training of a reactor plant.

USS Dwight D. Eisenhower CVN-69

Nuclear Power Training Unit Ballston Spa, Advanced to MM1.Responsible for hands on and classroom instruction of junior sailors going through their initial training phase. Primary role was providing extensive watchstanding experience and a thorough knowledge of all propulsion plant systems and their operating requirements. Qualified Quality Assurance Inspector, responsible for ensuring that all the required technical specification and cleanliness controls were followed during maintenance evolutions, ensuring first time quality each maintenance evolution.

Aboard U.S.S Enterprise CVN-65, Advanced to MM2. Achieved initial qualifications on all reactor plant mechanical systems and performed all deck plate maintenance on mechanical systems.

Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program Training Pipeline. 15-Month training pipeline covering the fundamentals of machinery operations and maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and nuclear plant theory, and hands on training of propulsion plant and reactor plant operations.
