As a company, we are dedicated to safety, so much so, we took 3-years changing our processes and procedures to proudly become SHARP certified; one of only 12 other companies in the whole of New Jersey. We’re serious about safety and want to help you complete your maintenance or emergency repairs safely too.Each project is planned extensively, compiling all the required documentation, plans and assessments, as well as ensuring our engineers are wearing the right equipment, PPE and are compliant at all times. I liaise with individual clients on projects, to understand and communicating any specific requirements or needs to our team, making sure they have everything they need to be able to assure that the assignment goes as smoothly as possible. We make sure that everything is completed, safely, on-time and to a high-quality standard.As the Operations and Safety Manager at Riggio Valve, my current role is multi-faceted but built on a solid foundation of unmeasurable expertise. I’ve worked for this innovative company for over 35-years in a variety of roles; it’s almost a part of me as I am of it! Throughout that time, I’ve absorbed, learned and practiced an extensive level of knowledge, skills and experience which I share with clients, my team, engineers, colleagues and new recruits, promoting a team effort at all times, built on respect and honor. Every company needs a back-room team, and my role as Operations Manager is to oversee this integral department, that enables everything up on the surface to keeping running smoothly. It’s the oil to grease the cogs and wheels to keep everything moving.I’m passionate about paperwork (not something that everyone can declare!), dedicated to the details. I encourage my team to work in their own way, often encouraging evolution and new methods that make the process more productive and efficient. New ideas, new ways, new developments and technologies.
