Samuel is an Economics undergraduate student researcher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, driven by a strong passion for Data Analysis and Quantitative Research, Financial Planning and Investment Strategies, and Economic Policy. He is actively involved in student-led organizations, including The Economics Club and The Scholarly Reading Circle for Economics along with participation in coding workshops outside of the classroom. In addition, Samuel volunteers his time to mentor and tutor underclassmen in Economics, offering guidance and support based on his four years of academic experience. His experience in real-world team scenarios and previous job experience has demonstrated his ability to collaborate effectively, a crucial skill for a career in Data Analysis.Samuel's skill set includes Excel proficiency, Math and Statistics, Econometric Modeling, intermediate R and Python coding, and intermediate-level Spanish. He is also preparing to take on an independent research study, further refining his analytical skills.
