About Samuel Garmoe

I am an undergraduate student earning a second bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Currently I am working on an independent project in JavaScript to build my web development skills. Along with the ongoing CS degree, I have spent several years in medical research and am currently a public health biologist.My goal is to break into the software development field with an internship for the Summer of 2025, which would be shortly before I graduate in Spring 2026.Current Projects:My focus is building a full-stack website for a fantasy football league via JavaScript, Next.js, and MongoDB. While the topic is lighthearted, this ongoing project has been a very effective intro to web development. This project is public on my GitHub, which is linked in my profile. Personal Interests:In my down time, nothing beats exercising. Ideally this means weight training or some kind of community sports league. At the moment, that means rec volleyball! When I am not outside, I always love a few hours with a video game, amateur woodworking, and gardening. I look forward to connecting and discussing how I can offer my skills as a developer!
