I am currently working as a Functional Consultant implementing SAP SRM. My recent activities have been undertaking detailed design workshops, documenting requirements and writing technical / functional blueprint documents. More updates to follow...

In this role I am responsible for supporting the live ERP system for the Procurement (MM) and Project Systems (PS) modules. Alongside this myself and my team provide advice and support for the next phase of the SAP implementation to extend the solution to Sales and Distribution (SD).

Following a successful implementation of SAP at Cambridge University Press, I have joined the SAP support team working specifically in the Procurement and Project Systems modules. I am constantly learning and hoping to pick up some configuration training in the next few months to improve my SAP knowledge and skills. I have helped in the development and delivery of training materials prior to and post go live with the SAP System. This is an ongoing process as we develop our understanding of how the solution works with our business processes.

Working on the development and integration of a new Global Finance and Fulfilment System for the Press - SAPI have been heavily involved with data mapping for data migration purposes to the MM module of SAP. I have gained experience in the SAP Media Product Hierarchy and also in SAP Project Systems.I have recently moved into the training stream on the project and I am now running SAP Project Systems training courses for other colleagues at the Press.

During University vacations, I gained significant administrative experience in the Human Resources department. My duties involved dealing with aspects of the recruitment and selection process, such as responding to enquiries from potential candidates for employment, coordinating interview arrangements, including the preparation of related correspondence, and assistance with induction training.I also helped to develop and subsequently populate a database to capture information from staff prior to issuing pin cards to enable authorised staff to access a new computerised patient administration system.

As Installations and Support Technician, my main duties and responsibilities included:Providing first-line telephone support to clients with both hardware and software queries, diagnosing problems and explaining the remedial action required Configuring touch screen machines and scanners, which were used extensively by the company's clients Creating network diagrams using Microsoft Visio and uploading to a website using Microsoft FrontPage Creating and restoring database backups and running scripts on the Company's own softwareInstalling scanning systems, pre-configuring wireless routers, touch screen machines and scanners to take to client sites where I was responsible for the system set-up, carrying out full testing of the hardware and software applications.
