I earnestly believe that every day is an adventure. The small and large challenges that are part of each day constitute a journey of learning, development, and appreciation for the people by my side.I spent much of my childhood walking through forests, hiking along rivers, and climbing on trees. In other words, I learned to navigate the unknown, to pay attention to the details, and to be flexible. These experiences are the bedrock of my passion for understanding how humans and the environment relate and interact with each other.My adventurous philosophy combined with my passion for human-environment relationships enable me to approach risks and decisions with a long-term mindset, whether that is coordinating projects with multiple teams and stakeholders, developing GIS strategies, or implementing geospatial solutions big and small. In my current role I support organizations with designing, developing, and integrating geospatial technologies to improve daily operations and enhance strategic decision-making. Greater efficiency and transparent strategies result in organizations being better able to serve their communities and customers. Outside of work I enjoy photographing wildlife and landscapes, experimenting with new recipes, and honing my design skills. And when I need a break, I'm usually laughing along to one of my favorite stand up comics, reading, or walking through nature.
