Worked in the hydrodynamics team in the Marine Technical Engineering Services department which studies ship motion analysis and seakeeping. Analysis was performed using in-house FEA modelling software to calculate response amplitude operators of the 6 degrees of freedom.Became educated in basic ship theory regarding geometry, flotation and seakeeping.During the internship period a market research project involving other interns based around the country was undertaken to look at new services centred around market clusters.
