Daily duties on each project include: creating seismic acquisition plans, orchestrating all SIMOPS within the block, managing close passes around obstructions and QC-ing acquired seismic data. • Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) Intan Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) Project 2019 (Brunei): 3D Client onboard the Crest Argus 2 vessel to investigate a potential petroleum play. OBN’s were deployed to maximise fold recovery.• Exxon Mobil Kizomba Project 2019 (Angola): 4D Client onboard the Ramform Sovereign vessel to replicate a survey shot in 2012. This was achieved through matching vintage streamer feather values based on the existing currents and tides through single vessel and dual vessel seismic shooting.

•Neart Na Gaothie Project 2018Offshore ground investigation on board the Omalius vessel to investigate ground conditions at proposed turbine locations, confirm depth to rock head and characterise in-situ soil and rock mass properties In situ testing included: Piezo Cone penetration test (CPTU), High Pressure Dilatometer and suspension P-S logging.Drilling techniques:Rotary drilling techniques (Sonic) allowing 100mm diameter core recovery using GeoboreS.On-board lab testing:• Index strength testing: hand vane, pocket penetrometers, torvanes and motorvanes• Point load testing;• Dry, bulk and saturated density; • Moisture content, liquid limit and plastic limit;• UU Triaxial;• Core/sample photographyGeology: Quaternary sediments (sands, silts clays with gravel, shells and organic material), Permian Bedrock (siltstone interbedded with with limestone, dolomite, mudstone, and sandstone) and Carboniferous deposits : (interbedded sandstone mudstone/siltstone with coal cyclothems and course sandstone interbedded with siltstone and mudstone).Role includes: 12 hour shift pattern as geologist/lab tech, logging Quaternary soil and Permian/ Carboniferous bedrock formations in accordance with British standards. Other duties include selecting sub samples for on board lab testing, interpretation and processing CPTU data and preparing end of shift reports for the onshore office.•Spadel Spa Project 2018Geophysical investigation using the EM34-3 and ABEM Terrameter LS to explore potable groundwater resources. Investigation was carried out in Spa, Belgium. •Coo-Trois-Ponts Hydroelectric Power Station Project 2019Seismic refraction investigation using the Geode Ultra-Light Exploration Seismograph Geometrics to investigate the bedrock and decide whether the reservoir can be extended or not.
