For the majority of my college career, I served as a technical teaching assistant for the “Gateway to Business” class at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver under the guidance of Professor Stephen Haag. My main responsibility was to help students complete their course project, which was to create a mobile application prototype for the entrepreneurial idea of their choosing. In addition, I was also available for the course by actively assisting the professors in their background research for the course, as well as helping to administer quizzes and exams.Additionally, during my senior year this course rolled out the Compass Project, which integrates underfunded high school students into the final project for this course. I was fortunate enough to be involved in this program, and I was responsible for teaching the high school students how to develop app prototypes using proto.io and how to develop websites using Wix. I also served as a mentor for these students, helping them to work with their college teammates and giving them advice and any necessary resources to help them succeed at the next level. Show less

During the summer of 2016 I worked as the marketing intern for Magnet 360, a Salesforce implementation partner. During this internship I had the opportunity to participate in various marketing tasks for the company, including creating a paid Facebook advertising campaign, creating email campaigns, working with customer stories, learning to use Photoshop and other design tools to create marketing content, and conducting various other day-to-day marketing tasks. I was also able to work with HR (helping to create a social media hiring campaign) and sales (helping to create a drip campaign that would help them manage their leads), which provided me with great insight into the company. However, my largest project during my time at Magnet 360 was to be in charge of their social media presence. This included scheduling content, creating content, analyzing content and the corresponding engagement, and making changes accordingly. This also resulted in the creation of a complete style guide that spanned across all of their social media platforms. This was basically a step-by-step guide for how to create, publish, and manage content for all of their different social media accounts, as well as a data analysis template that they could use for a monthly review of their social media practices.
