• Designed storm drainage system and storm water management facilities utilizing sand filters, recharge trenches, and underground storage resulting in 1st fully permitted package in contract by exceeding environmental regulations (Special Protection Area of $570m highway design-build for Intercounty Connector Contract B, Maryland SHA) • Completed analysis of flooding conditions in 2 neighborhoods, identifying existing drainage system as under-sized, challenged with flat geography and multiple utility conflicts. • Overcame challenges of multiple client inputs, municipalities & electric utility companies as well as acquiring easements over private property to install water lines and roadway improvements, and created final design for parking, utility infrastructure, multiple stormwater management facilities, recreational amenities and roadway improvements for 100k sq. ft. building.
