Current• Designed storm drainage system and storm water management facilities utilizing sand filters, recharge trenches, and underground storage resulting in 1st fully permitted package in contract by exceeding environmental regulations (Special Protection Area of $570m highway design-build for Intercounty Connector Contract B, Maryland SHA) • Completed analysis of flooding conditions in 2 neighborhoods, identifying existing drainage system as under-sized, challenged with flat geography and multiple utility conflicts. Prepared construction drawings for new, larger system & engineering reports for permitting. ($1m estimated construction costs for each project, City of Greenville, NC)• Prepared full construction plans that included significant utility relocation and pedestrian connectivity including ADA access points for mixed-use 985 bed high-rise and 900 car parking garage. ($85m student housing project, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC)• Interacted with client and manufacturer to identify needs and find optimal solution to complete engineering plans for sewer relocation and new facility construction. Proposed design allows facilities to remain accessible during construction. (Boys Town USA, Washington DC)• Developed conceptual design and construction documents to provide cost effective solution to regional flooding in neighborhood with minimal impact and interruption to property owners.
