• My role within the Design System team includes:
• Playing a pivotal role in establishing the foundations of the Unit4 design system, Ripple.
• Building a suite of accessible web components (using StencilJS), ensuring latest accessibility practices and behaviours are covered through extensive automated testing using Jest and React testing libraries.
• Lead the way in researching, planning and the writing of technical documentation for all aspects of components, tokens, setup and migration on Storybook and documentation websites. Each with a mindset to ensure.
• Within both Storybook and Docusaurus, creating detailed and reliable documentation through a combination o MDX, Styled Components and React, all utilising the suite of CSS custom property base tokens.
• Undertook ownership and responsibility in the generation of the dynamic React-based documentation website (Docusaurus) to unite the design system into a reliable single source of truth.

• Starting as a junior frontend developer, I spent 8 happy years learning my craft as a frontend and backend LAMP developer for the award-winning digital marketing agency on the southcoast of the UK.My experience here.

• Developing an end-to-end bespoke web application platform, providing multi-channel customisable demo presentation features using a combination of PHP, MySQL, CI4, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery.

• Implementing, designing and deploying a database architecture system using PHP, MySQL, CI, HTML and CSS with custom user interface admin portal for a UK charity to manage and maintain sponsorship and donations.

• Within my final year of my degree and before my first role as a Frontend Developer, I spent timeproducing a range of digital solutions including website design, logo & branding, frontend website development.
• Designing and developing the AMERC website as part of a live challenge in my final year. My project won, and along with a cash prize, the site was launched and is still running to this day.
• Using PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS I produced the Hollybrook Infant School website and provided continued support for many years until a more recent update to the website.
• Produced a suite of frontend HTML and CSS (Sass) templates for the Bournemouth 7’s (2014 edition) website, the biggest sport and music festival in Europe.
• Designing and branding a start up Chimney Sweep business, The Complete Sweep, including name generation, vector logo generation and business stationary.This experience also help develop time and project management.
