Worked performed this far includes software development and high level software testing. • Challenges thus far are mostly encompassed by keeping equivalent functionality of the legacy system while utilizing a different computer architecture, a higher order language, bringing legacy background processing to the foreground, and a pseudo model based design via MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow. • Hardware related work is reviewing the FCC supplier's submittals and creating new built in tests in the software to report failures of the new computer where possible. The new built in tests take place both via crew initiated and periodic tests.• Act as a technical lead for support of how to test the software and aid in defining how to test the software in a team of 15 engineers.• Isolation of problems seen in the lab environment to the correct organization and functional area as they arise.
