My passions and dreams always revolved with working in the medical field. I always believed that it was my responsibility to help those less fortunate than me, and working in the medical field has fulfilled that dream. I am a seasoned office administrator with more than ten years' experience in the healthcare industry. My career experiences and skills have grown throughout the years. I enjoy working with people and helping them accomplish their medical needs, whether it be helping them with their insurance eligibility, authorization, or understanding their medical condition. My career began working in an urgent care facility that provided emergency care to all the community. Later I worked for a pediatric endocrinologist teaching parents how to care for their children and then worked in a gastroenterology office as a study coordinator and medical assistant. In these capacities, I supported the office's needs by monitoring and maintaining office supplies and equipment. I implemented and maintained data collection and analysis systems in support of the research protocol and coordinated the collection and analysis of research data. Lastly, I served as an instructor, preparing and delivering lectures and lab demonstrations. I also actively participated in faculty staff meetings and in-service training.During my time off from work, my life revolves around my two daughters, and I am accomplishing my dream of obtaining my bachelor's degree at DeVry University. I am very proud of myself and all that I have achieved.
