Provide overview of a competency restoration program that provides competency restoration services to adults who are deemed incompetent to stand trial (IST).

Served as program director for the TCOOMMI grant at TPC. Supervised and supported case managers who oversaw the parole and probation caseloads. Assisted justice involved counterparts by offering support and linking them with resources within the TPC agency, as well as providing assessments to help meet the needs of identified clients releasing from prison or other incarcerated settings or those under community supervision.

Responsible for providing mental health case management and skills training for children and families. Duties include assessment & treatment planning, linking to community services, referring, and teaching DSHS approved coping skills training in the home, office, school, and work environments as well as providing short term family and individual counseling and administrating intake assessments. Responsible for providing crisis interventions/resolutions to reduce family conflict.

Investigated reports of abuse/neglect to children to assess current or future risk to children by interviewing parents, family members, and others; interviewing and examining children; assessing home environment and gathering pertinent information from other sources.
