Responsible for working with Ellevation’s largest K-12 district partners in Central and Western USA to foster long-term partnerships, drive product implementation, and provide ongoing support to ensure that educators can maximize the use of Ellevation to enhance their work with English Language Learners. As a senior level role within the Partner Success Organization, working closely with internal Services, Product, and Sales teams to refine Ellevation’s approach to enterprise-level district partnerships. Professional Support And Development

The Professional Development (PD) Operations Team Lead provides leadership and coordination that supports the activities of specific PD Central Support Teams – Design, Media/Online and Mentor/Teacher Leadership. The PD Operations Team Lead manages a team of PD Specialists who are responsible for working with content experts across the district and/or District vendors/consultants to design research-based, high quality and needs-driven training resources and/or data tools to implement department critical work. The Team Lead is responsible for intense and close review of content and/or technical development to ensure alignment to needs and project vision; and production of high-quality resources. The PD Operations Team Lead manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of work projects.+ Works with PD Team Manager(s) and/or Assistant Superintendent to determine priorities such as training needed and designed, application solutions for content delivery, alignment to District priorities, etc., and to decide what mode of delivery is most effective - classroom, on-line, hybrid, etc. + Structures and manages the work of a team of PD Specialists to ensure quality, efficient, aligned design. Work time includes performing many of the same duties that are performed by the team.+ Accountable for ensuring that district-wide training materials and PD opportunities are of high quality, innovative and yield intended impact. + Partners with the Teacher Development Specialist Team Leads to ensure that Teacher Development Specialists are masters of district-wide training content and have the tools to support teacher development in prioritized areas. + Researches the approaches of key partners and external content and delivery organizations engaged in professional development in order to continually improve the practice of PD and to identify material and methodologies with high potential.

Professional Support And Development

The PD Design Specialist is responsible for leading the effort to design and develop high impact training materials for the primary benefit of teachers and other professional staff that are aligned to Instructional Practice Rubric of the District’s evaluation system. + Design high-impact training material for teachers and other professional staff for both on-line and traditional delivery. This includes working to determine vision & goals for training, measures of success, partnering with subject matter experts to developing content and determining most effective method for delivery.+ Identify and partner with subject matter experts to develop training content – manage the content development and vetting processes . + Collaborate with other Design Specialists to ensure alignment across training priority areas .+ Where appropriate, work with On-line Training Specialists to develop an on-line delivery strategy and to implement modules on training platforms . + Work with Teacher Development Specialists and other district staff to identify highest needs, researching approaches for addressing these needs, and developing training approach where appropriate.+ Working with PD Design Specialists and other PD staff to continually evaluate offerings .+ Deliver live training and/ or facilitate on-line training as necessary .+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned .
