I moved into this position in November of 2010. It was a chance to grow and learn more about Ozarks Electric. My duties include providing clerical support for Operations and Right of Way. Duties for Right of Way include service order distribution and tracking, time entry submission, budget management and maintaining records for other Right of Way related.

Obtained and maintained information for monthly processing of the Inventory, Work Order and General Ledger Modules using Daffron software. Prepared monthly and yearly close outs for each module. Other duties included monthly reporting for financial reports, budgets, sales tax, vendor payments and maintenance reports.

Employee time entry, processing payroll and maintaining payroll records for 42 employees being paid bi-weekly. Payroll reporting including state and federal taxes. Completed month end reports and obtaining information necessary to close the accounts payable, payroll, inventory, transportation and work order systems. Maintained records and filing systems.

All functions of maintaining accounts payable including coding invoices, obtaining proper approval, entering invoice information, printing and mailing checks and maintaining a filing system for copies of checks and other relevant information. Daily posting of cash receipts, daily trips to the bank and post office and a monthly outage report.
