I am a recently graduated Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), my time at Appalachian State University and more specifically in the High Country of North Carolina has taught me a number of skills including multi-dimensional and cross-cultural community organizing, grassroots fundraising campaigns, social media marketing, networking, and educational content creation.As well as the upmost importance of grassroots advocacy work in the rural south for immigration-affected individuals, families, groups, communities, organizations, and the visibility of that very work. I believe that no human being is illegal.
