I’m an innovative and resourceful post production leader with a proven ability to streamline post-process and workflow, cultivate talent, cut costs and improve efficiency while cranking out quality content. My skills include technical and creative post architecture, staffing, budgeting, scheduling, purchasing, and planning project logistics while maintaining excellent client relationships. Supervising multiple post timelines from start to finish, I work closely with production, clients, networks, and departments to deliver projects on-time and under budget. I’m a confident, grounded, open-minded team player with a cheerful disposition and a calm demeanor. A big-picture thinker, I think fast on my feet, while paying attention to small details at all times. I have a wealth of knowledge and I am committed to providing dynamic leadership, that post production demands and also deserves. I love what I do and find creative ways to inspire my team which adds to my quality of life.My feature documentary, “Into the Storm” has garnered funding from Sundance, the Kendeda Fund, Firelight Media, nextPix Humanistic Media Award, NALIP/Latino Media Market, NALIP/LAMP Fellowship, and the NALIP/HBO LPA Fellowship. An award-winning writer, I’ve written shorts and features, produced and directed promos, internet content, and previously produced and directed a docu-style TV pilot. My experience includes working behind the scenes on digital content, commercials, promos, films, television shows, and print ads. In 2001, I received my MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute (AFI), earning many honors and accolades for my work. A native Angeleno, on the weekend I can be found hiking Runyon Canyon with my Schnoodle Frankie Lou or skateboarding down Sunset Boulevard in search of a great cup of coffee and a gluten-free treat.
