I oversee the development of the translational and clinical research portfolio of the Hematologic Malignancies and Stem Cell Transplantation Institute at City of Hope. I work directly with the Institute and Center Directors, Disease Team leaders and Project Development Scientists to assure that project design, management, funding and publication needs are met. I hire, train and supervise Project Development Scientists in each Center of the Institute, establishing workload priorities according to Institute and Center Goals.

I worked with physician researchers in Hematology/HCT to prepare their research for publication, develop clinical trial protocols, and get funding for translational and clinical cancer therapy projects.

The JMML Foundation exists to find a cure for JMML, and to improve the quality of life of JMML patients and families through research, education, advocacy, and charity. Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML) is a rare form of leukemia that affects young children, generally under the age of five.
