Corporate Human Resources Manager
CurrentEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Manages all human resources programs, policies, and human resources personnelOversees the daily activities and assigns and evaluates the work of the HR Department staffEnsures compliance with company policies and governmental legislationsDirects all employee relations activities and promotes community relationsAddresses employee questions and/or issues, conducts employee counseling, and ensures employees’ right to exercise the “open door policy”Conducts and monitors employee disciplinary actions, including terminationsProvides counsel to managers and supervisors on human resources policies, programs, and procedures to ensure fair and consistent application and employee treatmentPerforms and/or oversees employee staffing activities, and administration of the compensation, employee benefits, paid time off, leave of absence, workers’ compensation, and other human resources programsParticipates in and/or conducts employee training programs and new hire orientationsMonitors employment laws to assure compliance with all current legislationAssists in the development of policies and proceduresCoaches and/or mentors the HR department employees in order to develop their knowledge and skills in accordance with their overall responsibilities within the department
