During my 3-month summer internship with the Mandai Park Development Attractions Team, I worked closely with the head landscape architect and a team of dedicated architects to develop and construct Singapore's 5th zoological garden, Rainforest Wild. I was involved in facilitating effective stakeholder engagements by coordinating meetings and consolidating design proposals, which expedited project approvals. I conceptualized content decks for critical review meetings with senior management to gain support for new construction design proposals. Supervising a mock-up experiment, I also collaborated with stakeholders to select an ideal ground substrate for a large habitat space. Additionally, I verified on-site construction to ensure proper implementation of landscape designs and optimized guest experiences by strategically placing tree saplings to enhance the softscape's visual appeal. I also had the honor of curating conceptual designs and spatial experiences for a new entranceway into the 5th park.
