I work with all areas of the business to identify, validate, and implement improvements. Improvements include process changes, procedure validation / improved documentation, data capture, etc. As Process Improvement Manager, I own the project from beginning to end, work with all peripheral departments that assist in making process changes to the operations (e.g. training, IT, HR, etc.). I create the project plan, identify the project measurements, structure pilots, coordinate touchpoints and tollgates. It is a very interesting position since I get involved in so many areas of our business.

I work with all areas of the company to implement changes as needed. These changes can come from new regulations, upgrades to our system, or from individual suggestions. I manage the project from inception to delivery, including coordinating communication, developing and administering training, and ensuring all legal requirements are met.

Responsible for consulting projects on client location. Trained and supervised a team of employees in providing analyses, identifying and quantifying improvement opportunities, and helping clients improve processes, productivity, financial results, etc. utilizing a variety of tools based on the concepts of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other similar ideas. Led clients through change process, helping them implement a management operating system as well as improving the corporate culture. Conducted training classes with manager, director, and VP level on each step within change process. Assisted client in setting project schedule, budget, goals, and coached client to deliver results. Identified as a “Train the Trainer”. Coached managers on floor to apply classroom training in every day situations. Developed other consultants to advance and take on greater responsibility. Types of industry: manufacturing, utilities, maintenance, administrative, call center. Progressive responsibility from $2.0 to $4.2 million in annual billing.

Project Manager role: Same as at Performance Partnering above. Promoted to manage up to 30 associates due to superior ability to train and develop staff internally while meeting external responsibilities. Often called upon to conduct internal training for other projects after normal business hours. Progressive responsibility from $1.3 to $2.2 million in annual billing.Associate role: Coached and trained clients to recognize and capitalize on opportunities for improvement and to change their culture so that this behavior becomes the standard. Help client design and implement management operating / measurement systems.
