Sanjay Mathur is an experienced IT executive with over 25 years in the industry. In his current role at Veritas he is the Global Customer Support Site Leader for Pune site and also leads the APJ language team out of China and Japan. He has worked in Tata Consultancy Services for approximately seven years, Oracle for approximately thirteen years and Cisco for five years. He has also had three stints with startups - being one of the first few employees at Churchill Insurance’s IT arm in India, and another one in the UK for IT services business and very recently with Icertis, leading the Customer Success team in Pune. Apart from his native country India, where he’s been based out of New Delhi and Bangalore, he’s had an opportunity to work in United Kingdom for five years and Singapore for two years providing him the necessary global exposure.His core strengths are in Customer Support, Strategy, Execution, Services Sales, P&L management, Operational excellence, developing talent and it’s proven, whether it was building large organizations quickly, over achieving sales targets consistently or managing organizations through change.Sanjay has led a number of initiatives at Oracle, Cisco and Veritas to improve the customer experience substantially and the current initiative in pilot phase being implemented in Pune is Swarm. Sanjay has also been selected for the Club VIP at Veritas for the year 2019 from support. The Pune team has also recently won the CEO award for Diagnostic Methodology which has been implemented recently.
