A qualified & experienced result oriented Civil Engineer, I am a passionate person with a zeal for work, a hard task master, a capable leader, a cool mentor - a person with a futuristic outlook & pragmatic thinking – a thorough professional who went through the professional paces as an Army Engineer for the better part of my career. The years in the Army honed my social & interpersonal skills and afforded me a tremendous opportunity to showcase my engineering & management skills in varying geographies & terrains. In addition to having successfully handled a spectrum of engineering assignments including heading engineering works divisions, I have a vast experience of handling assignments involving complex man-management situations, raising & mentoring teams, dealing with various levels of hierarchy & bureaucracy and financial administration. I have been responsible for execution & management of several projects including developing office interiors to the tune of 6.65 Million Sqft across the country and abroad with formats ranging from 90,500 Sqft for corporate offices to zonal offices of 5000 Sqft or Points of Sales with an average carpet area of 1450 Sqft and managing the facilities & services in these offices. All projects bear my distinctive signature and reflect the passion with which they have been executed. An expert in Civil Defence and Disaster Management, I have spearheaded two National level Centrally Sponsored Schemes launched by the Govt of India in the fields of Civil Defence and Disaster Risk Reduction in the Country.and have been instrumental in revival of Civil Defence, a Community based- Govt backed organization while Mainstreaming it into the Community Based Disaster Management mechanism of the Country.
