- Facilitate daily communication with suppliers, receivers, and service providers.- Serve as the primary point of contact for preparing shipments of physical commodities for customers and suppliers, handling all shipping documentation.- Coordinate Customs Clearance for Imports and Exports.- Manage the issuance and receipt of releases to and from international warehouses.- Prepare invoices in accordance with payment terms, including Holding Certificates, CAD, Bank Collections, and Open Account arrangements.- Ensure cargo insurance compliance while adhering to payment terms, including holding certificates, CAD, L/C’s, and Bank Collections, while fulfilling bank reporting requirements in collaboration with GMI Finance.- Apply a thorough understanding of incoterms in shipment preparation and organization.- Quote pricing (Quotational Periods) to suppliers and/or customers in alignment with contract requirements.- Organize and coordinate shipments via vessel, truck, rail, and multimodal transport through direct communication with shipping lines, warehouses, owners, and brokers.- Obtain freight quotes and vendor services.- Reconcile inventory by comparing warehouse-issued stock reports against Balsamo records.- Maintain credit lines, shipping lists, debtor reports, and Exposure Records as necessary.- Generate contracts with suppliers and customers promptly upon business establishment.- Ensure overall system maintenance of Balsamo.
