Desire2Move (D2M) is an 8-week eHealth team-based physical activity program for GSU employees that is offered annually during the spring semester. As the Assistant Program Coordinator, I assisted the program coordinator, Dr. Ellis, with all aspects of program implementation including (a) abstract preparation from previous year’s program, (b) program.

Desire2Move (D2M) is a university-wide physical activity competition and research project created by Dr. Ellis from Georgia State University's (GSU) Kinesiology and Health Department. As a research fellow for D2M, I coordinated and executed fitness assessments and health coaching sessions for beginners in the program. I was also a Team Liaison for 4 teams.

I instruct group functional fitness classes to a variety of clients. Each class includes a structured warm-up, instruction on how to properly perform all movements in the workout, and a cool-down. I coach all ages and genders. Helping clients improve in and outside of the gym is the best reward as a coach.
