In this role I was there to assist the Warehouse Team Leaders, coordinated the documentation and packing requirements for Sea Freight and Airfreight to New Zealand, also arranging ad-hoc freight requirements to China and the US, I also liaised with Freight companies for projects and one off jobs with special requirements for delivery within Victoria and nationally. I also arranged the production schedule for the print lines. I was also assisting HR with the recruitment process for new members of the warehouse team

This was a temp role, which I later went permanent in. In this role I was arranging the documentation and freighting of goods from Melbourne to New Zealand via Air Freight and Sea Freight. When I had downtime in this role I would assist our accessories warehouse in picking and packing orders.

While I was temping for Toll I worked in 2 roles, both customer service, one in their Laverton Office, dealing with the creation of sales orders, and general admin for their chemical division, this role was only for approx. 3 weeks. I went onto work in their West Melbourne office at Toll Intermodal, at Intermodal I was arranging the shipping of beer from Melbourne to WA, this involved sourcing empty containers, arranging pallets of beer to be collected from the brewery and getting loaded into containers, PRA'ing the containers, and arranging for the containers to be carted to the wharf, arranging slots with the shipping lines, I dealt with a number of people, from Cartage companies, Brewery staff, warehouse staff, shipping lines, container yards. I also assisted with drivers log books to check their fatigue management.

As the Dispatch Supervisor I was in charge of arranging freight for the roofing department, the purlin department and the coil department. I liaised with a variety of different people ranging from truck drivers, to clients, managers, warehouse staff. I spent a lot of time building a rapport with our clients so I could assist them in the best possible manner.

In this role I was scheduling work for 2 machine operators, this involved ad-hoc jobs as well as keeping the warehouse stocked with the required amount of pre-cut sheets for stock. I also took orders, negotiated prices and built relationships with all our clients, and ended up managing a key account for the business unit, and this included arranging orders and timely delivery for goods that were not in my specific business unit. I also updated our stock levels and kept our customer database up to date. I also ordered coil stock and other sheet product as and when necessary
