- Responsible for in-house middle office operations, back office third party administrator oversight and the supplier management function. Direct report to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and instrumental in decisions regarding operating model enhancements, people plans, budgeting, operational risk and disaster recovery protocol.- Project sponsor and Ops business lead for all strategic change. Including selection, appointment & implementation of external investment managers and the outsourcing of middle office operations supporting the alternatives investment portfolio. - Created a ‘fast-track’ change governance framework to support small or repeated change. Examples include external manager terminations/appointments, new instruments and low impact technology or operational changes. Project managed multiple examples of each.- Designed and implemented a service delivery framework internally to TPI to assess operational performance, enable continual improvement and to promote respect, open communication & teamwork across all business areas.- Repeated evaluation of departmental efficiency and controls. Reviewing people, processes, and procedures. Implementing changes where appropriate and developing team members, to ensure continued high performance.

- Responsible for creating and enforcing the TPI Supplier Management Policy, including protocol for onboarding new suppliers, the ongoing monitoring of supplier relationships, exit procedures and regular risk assessments of the TPI operating model, inclusive of key suppliers.- Led the design and build of the target operating model for new middle office, custody and securities lending outsourced services. The operation supported trading of equities, fixed income, ETD, OTC and FFX. Project included the migration of custody records from a previously appointed custodian.- Project managed the termination of multiple external equity and fixed income managers and the transition of the associated investment portfolios in-house.- Worked alongside the then Head of Operations, to develop the internal operating models for cash forecasting, cash management and middle office administration of the property, hedge fund and private equity investment portfolios.

- Responsible for the services delivered by our transfer agent and fund accounting TPAs (four external TPAs & team of 2 direct reports).- Offered specialist support for internal and external business change projects resulting from regulatory, industry and/or internally demanded changes. Examples include operational changes required to support UCITS IV, RDR, PAIFs, KIIDs, CMAR reporting, fund launches and fund pricing structure changes.- Completed regular risk assessments of outsourced activities and the internal TPA oversight function. - As part of the middle office management team; provided cover for back office operations, data and business change managers.

- Operational oversight of the transfer agency, fund accounting and custody functions with the Luxembourg TPAs for the F&C SICAV fund range. - Conducting in-depth thematic reviews of the TPAs, providing recommendations for management consideration, both internally and at the relevant TPA. - Assisting in the registration of F&C SICAVs and OEICs in global jurisdictions, appointment of paying agents & distributors.

- Organising corporate client visits for audit or general reviews, producing reports of client's findings and co-ordinating responses from relevant departments.- Third party administration of repurchases, transfers and switches of clients Unit Trusts, ISAs and PEPs.
